Join Epiphany for another of their Sunday Evening Coffee Concerts. Programme will include Beethoven's 'Spring Sonata' performed by Shirley Richards (violin) and Peter Richards (piano). They will be joined by Sarah Williamson (soprano) who will be singing a number of songs during the evening. Doors open at 7pm for coffee/tea/cake. Entry for a donation.

Epiphany' enjoyed performing to a capacity audience their ever-popular 'Classics at Christmas' concerts at St George's Church in Poynton. We presented a programme of beautiful classical music and Christmas favourites, including ‘Winter’ from Vivaldi’s ‘4 Seasons’ performed by Shirley Richards.

Epiphany performed another Sunday Evening Coffee Concert at Poynton Methodist Church on 27th April. The programme included the ever-popular 'American' String Quartet by Dvořák and Haydn's Quartet opus 77 no 1

Peter and Shirley Richards presented a programme of music for violin and piano by Brahms, Kreizler, Elgar and Fauré at our Coffee Concert on 2nd February.

Epiphany performed another Sunday Evening Coffee Concert. at Poynton Methodist Church on 14th October 2024. Our programme included Beethoven String Quartet op 59 no 1 and Mozart's String Quartet no. 3.

Our Sunday Evening Coffee Concert on 12th May at Poynton Methodist Church was very well received by the large audience who attended. The programme included Dvořák Piano Quintet and a Handel Sonata for Violin & Piano.

Epiphany's 'Classics at Christmas' concert took place on 15th December 2023 at St George's Church in Poynton. The programme of light classics and Christmas music delighted the capacity audience!

Epiphany enjoyed performing another Sunday Evening Coffee Concert at Poynton Methodist Church on 1st October. The programme included Brahms Horn Trio and Beethoven Sonata for Violin and Piano in G major.

Epiphany enjoyed performing Celtic music and light classics as part of the Poynton Arts Festival. The concert featured solo 'Celtish' musicians Nigel Cameron (Irish Whistles/percussion/vocals) and Julie Cameron-Hall (fiddle/vocals). Epiphany performed another Sunday Evening Coffee Concert at Poynton Methodist Church at 7.30pm. The programme included two of the most loved pieces in the chamber music repertoire: Mendelssohn's Octet for strings and Bach's Brandenburg Concerto no 3

On Friday 17th February we were both delighted and humbled to perform' The Space' three times in Chester Cathedral. We performed under the stunning 'Gaia' installation.

We played a programme of Celtic and light classics and Christmas favourites. Guest soloists were Nigel & Julie Cameron/Cameron-Hall (Irish Whistles/fiddle/vocals), Becki Luff (harp) and Dave Hart (flute).

Epiphany performed at their ever popular 'Classics at Christmas' concerts on 17th Dec at St George's Church in Poynton. Programme included Corelli's 'Christmas Concerto', Albinoni's 'Adagio' and other Christmas favourites.

Epiphany's musicians enjoyed performing a Sunday Evening Coffee Concert at Poynton Methodist Church on 28th Nov 2021. The programme included Haydn's 'Gypsy' Trio and Schumann's Piano Quintet.

Epiphany enjoyed performing a Sunday Evening Coffee Concert on 3rd October. The programme included music by Mozart, Brahms, Schubert and a World Premiere of a new piece 'Heaven' by Peter Richards.

Epiphany's two Coffee Concert at Poynton Methodist Church on 27th June were a great success. Despite Covid restrictions, our audiences thoroughly enjoyed the programme, which included music by Handel, Bach, Grieg & Strauss, Pachelbel's Canon, Songs from 'My Fair Lady' and a final blessing

Epiphany premiered an online Coffee Concert on YouTube on Saturday 30th January at 7.30pm. The programme included beautiful chamber music by Mozart & Schubert, Celtic folk tunes, theme tunes from major feature films and a final improvised 'Blessing'. Epiphany enjoyed performing two 45 minute long socially distanced Coffee Concerts at Poynton Methodist Church on 1st November.

Epiphany enjoyed performing an hour-long programme of classical and improvised music in Chester Cathedral on 14th October as part of a modern day slavery exhibition. Click to watch a highlights video from this concert.

Epiphany enjoyed presenting another Sunday Evening Coffee Concert on Sunday 2nd February. We performed an evening of light classics including Ladies in Lavender Theme tune, My Heart will go on (Titanic theme tune), and music by Mozart, Rachmaninov, Fauré, Borodin and others.

Epiphany enjoyed putting on a candlelit concert of light classics at Pott Shrigley Church (Cheshire). The programme included Mozart's 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik', Pachelbel's Canon, Ladies in Lavender theme tune, a song selection featuring soprano Sarah Williamson - and a number of improvisations.

Epiphany enjoyed performing their annual 'Classics at Christmas' concerts at St George's Church in Poynton on 20th & 21st December. We were joined by soloists Rik Roberts (classical guitar) & Sarah Williamson (soprano).

Epiphany enjoyed providing the music for the annual Manchester City Centre Carol Services on 19th December.

Epiphany enjoyed performing a programme of music by Brahms, Holst, Debussy, Kurt Weill and Schubert at their Sunday Evening Coffee Concert at Poynton Methodist Church on 24th November.

On Sun 29th September, Epiphany enjoyed performing Schubert's String Quintet at the first concert in their 2019/20 series of Sunday Evening Coffee Concerts at Poynton Methodist Church.

Epiphany made a return visit to Skipton on 12th & 13th July 2019. We performed a classical concert on Fri 12th July at Christ Church and then played Sound Portraits in Craven Court shopping arcade for passers by on the morning of Sat 13th July.

Epiphany enjoyed playing Sound Portraits and also a classical concert for a private conference at the Hayes Conference Centre in Swanwick (Derbys) from 24th to 26th June

Epiphany enjoyed an inspiring weekend in the beautiful village of Childswickham (in the Cotswolds) on 15th & 16th June 2019 playing Sound Portraits and giving a light classical concert.

Epiphany had a wonderful time in Vietnam collaborating with the talented young Vietnamese pianist, Trang Trinh. This visit took years of planning and involved some exciting concerts in Hanoi including a new piece, specially written by composer Peter Richards for Trang and Epiphany featuring Vietnamese folk tunes. We also offered Sound Portraits at several of the events.

Epiphany performed another of their Sunday Evening Coffee Concerts at Poynton Methodist Church. The programme included Mozart Divertimento in D K136 and Mozart Clarinet Quintet with guest clarinettist Nick Rodwell.

Epiphany performed another of their Sunday Evening Coffee Concerts at Poynton Methodist Church on Sunday 22nd April. They presented a programme of light jazz and Scottish folk music with Andrew Whettam and friends.

Epiphany put on a special fund-raising concert in aid of Hospice@Home at St George's Church, Poynton on 3rd March - with a popular programme including Pachelbel's Canon, Mozart Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Bach Air on the G string and some light jazz. Guests soloists were Sarah Williamson (soprano) & Dave Hart (flute)

On 24th February, Epiphany joined members of the Musicians Network and other musician friends to put on a remarkable concert of specially written music for full symphony orchestra in a unique concert at All Souls Church, Langham Place in Central London, including 4 world premieres, with guest solo soprano, April Frederick

Epiphany performed their annual 'Classics at Christmas' concert at St George's Church in Poynton on 22nd December 2017, featuring a programme of light classics and Christmas music, including Celtic music with Irish whistle player Nigel Cameron and singer Julie Cameron-Hall.

Epiphany provided the music for the annual Manchester City Centre lunchtime Carol Services in Manchester Town Hall on 21st December 2017.

Epiphany performed another of their Sunday Evening Coffee Concerts at Poynton Methodist Church on 26th November. The audience were treated to a programme of a Mozart Piano Trio and a Dvorak Piano Quartet.

Epiphany's opening concert of the 2017/18 Coffee Concert series at Poynton Methodist Church was a great success. Wonderdful music by Haydn and Borodin - and wonderful home made cakes to welcome the audience!

On 15th September, Epiphany gave a very warmly received classical concert, including Sound Portraits, at St Bartholomew’s Church in Tardebigge (Worcs).

Epiphany performed a light jazz programme at their Sunday Evening Coffee Concerts at Poynton Methodist Church on 30th April.

Instrumentalists from the Musicians Network and Epiphany joined soprano April Fredrick and countertenor Péter Bozi, for a ground-breaking performance of an improvised Oratorio at St Sepulchre's Church in central London on 28th April.

Epiphany performed a classical concert, including Sound Portraits, on Sat 4th Feb at St Alban’s Church in Watchfield, near Shrivenham in Oxfordshire. St Alban's Church serves the Defence Academy in Shrivenham. On the Sunday morning Epiphany were involved in another community event at St Alban's Church.

We were joined by guest soloists Julian Poore (trumpet) and Sarah Richards (soprano). The programme included Corelli's Christmas Concerto, Tchaikovsky Waltz from Serenade for Strings, John Williams Schindler's List and a Christmas selection

Epiphany performed a concert of light classics at YWAM Holmsted Manor on a beautiful Summer's evening in July 2016. The charity concert raised money for work with refugees.

Epiphany featured at an evening event in Chippenham, Wilts on 7th May, playing a light classical programme, speaking about their work and offering Sound Portraits to members of the audience

Epiphany's ever-popular 'Classics at Christmas' concert at St George's Church Poynton in December 2015 featured guest oboe soloist Amy Roberts. The programme included Holst 'St Paul's Suite, Albinoni Oboe Concerto and a Christmas selection.
